Duties

• Lead the administration of cloud services including AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure, ensuring secure and efficient cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Supervise the configuration and maintenance of virtualized environments using VMware and vSphere to optimize resource utilization.
• Oversee network infrastructure including Cisco routers, LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), firewalls, and network security protocols to guarantee robust connectivity.
• Implement and maintain IT service management frameworks such as ITIL to enhance service delivery and support processes using tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
• Ensure data integrity, backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies are in place to safeguard organizational assets.
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and cloud services while negotiating contracts to maximize value.
• Provide technical support across departments by troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft Windows Server, Linux systems, Microsoft SQL Server databases, IIS (Internet Information Services), SharePoint, Active Directory, DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), and remote access software.
• Oversee server management tasks including installation, configuration, patching, monitoring with SolarWinds tools, and performance tuning.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in cybersecurity measures such as information security policies and network security protocols.
• Lead a team of IT professionals by supervising daily operations, fostering professional development, and ensuring high standards of service excellence.

Experience

• Proven experience in managing enterprise IT environments with a strong background in systems engineering and network engineering.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IT projects utilizing project management methodologies like Agile or traditional approaches.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure along with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure components including Cisco routers, LAN/WAN architecture, firewalls, DHCP, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and remote access solutions.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL coupled with experience using ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking and workflow automation.
• Supervisory experience leading technical teams while managing vendor relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication skills paired with organizational abilities necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices focusing on information security measures like network security protocols to protect organizational data assets. Pay: $83,240.60 - $100,246.75 per year
