Applications Developer:
On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for an Applications Developer for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mount Laurel office.

Applications Developer - Job Description:
The project involves new development focusing on Node.js, React, and database integration. The role is part of a new project within a leading financial institution, aiming to enhance their current technological capabilities.

Applications Developer - Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Build responsive user interfaces with React.js.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Applications Developer - Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
  • Proficient in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git).
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).

Applications Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with agile development processes.
  • Experience with cloud services and deployment.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.

Applications Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.

ASAP.

Applications Developer - Assignment Location:
Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite, moving to 4 days onsite as needed.
