Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker / Shipping and reciving to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with company standards. This role requires proficiency in operating warehouse equipment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize cherry pickers and other heavy equipment to select items from stock for order fulfillment.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while adhering to quality control standards.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed to maintain safety.
• Maintain an organized work area, ensuring that all products are stored correctly within the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order statuses.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and availability.

Requirements

• Previous experience in order picking or warehouse management is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including cherry pickers.
• Strong ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of picking packing procedures and order fulfillment processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Interview style: send names of associates by end of day the day before associates start

Position: Loading / unloading furniture and household goods

Pay Rate: $20

Pay week: Mon-Sun

Time sheet: Client provides hours weekly

Conversion hours: 480 hours

Background check: Y

PPE: gloves will be provide by the client

Dress Code: casual warehouse worker no exposed skin, explicit writing, or torn clothing

Start Date: ASAP

Detailed job description: unloading trailers, walking merchandise with supplied equipment. unloading furniture trucks, should be able to maneuver 75-100 lbs with the use of a dolly (team lift, use floor dollies) and walking the furniture up to 50ft away on dollies to the correct furniture bins.

Other details: 30 minute unpaid lunch, and two-10 minute paid breaks
