<Overview>
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a Network Engineering team supporting complex, enterprise-scale network environments. This role is ideal for a highly skilled networking professional who brings deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, support, and optimize secure, high-availability network infrastructures while helping drive best practices and continuous improvement
<Responsibilities>
- Support and manage enterprise network environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability
- Build and maintain trusted working relationships with stakeholders and internal teams
- Cisco routers
- Cisco, Aruba, and Arista switches
- Cisco and Aruba wireless controllers
- Enterprise firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Application delivery and load-balancing platforms
- Network access control platforms (e.g., ISE, ClearPass)
- Architect and troubleshoot routing technologies such as SD-WAN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRFs, and related protocols
- Design and support switching technologies including trunking, EtherChannel, Spanning Tree, DHCP Snooping, and VXLAN
- Provide firewall, VPN, and network incident response under time-sensitive conditions
- Perform ongoing network and security monitoring to identify potential issues or threats
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures accurately and clearly
- Monitor network performance, anticipate risks, and recommend proactive improvements
- Manage incidents and tasks through a ticketing system
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes, tools, and service delivery
- Stay current on emerging networking and security technologies through training and research
- Assist with network security architecture and integration efforts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
<Requirements>
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Professional-level networking certification (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments
- Expert-level experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless access points, controllers, and monitoring tools
- Experience deploying and supporting enterprise campus Wi-Fi networks
- Strong ability to document, diagram, and clearly explain network designs
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
