We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Professional Services Consultant with expertise in ELK to join our team. This role requires a professional with a security clearance and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in enterprise-level implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Splunk Deployment and Management (this project is entirely ELK but we are looking for this previous experience)

  • Architect, deploy, and optimize Splunk Core and premium apps (e.g., Splunk Enterprise Security, ITSI, Splunk SOAR) for enterprise environments.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability through best practices and innovative solutions.

ELK Deployment and Management Engineer

  • Prallax Consulting is seeking an experienced ELK Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana solutions in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building scalable Elasticsearch clusters, configuring Logstash pipelines for diverse data sources, and developing advanced Kibana dashboards to support analytics and observability.

Customer Engagement and Consulting

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on implementing and integrating Splunk solutions.
  • Conduct technical workshops and user training for Splunk Core and premium apps to enhance customer understanding and utilization.

Data Onboarding and Analysis

  • Develop and customize dashboards, reports, and alerts aligned with client operational and security objectives.

Collaboration and Documentation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts, to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Document configurations, processes, and solutions for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Must qualify for public trust clearance.
  • U.S Government requires U.S citizenship for this position.
  • Work must be preformed in the continental U.S.A
  • Proven expertise in Splunk Core consulting, including implementation, optimization, and customization.
  • Proven expertise in ELK, including designing, deploying, and managing Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Splunk Core Certified Consultant certification or Splunk Architect certification (required).
  • ELK Engineer certification; Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Observability Engineer, or Elastic Certified Analyst (required).
  • Experience working with Splunk premium apps such as Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), Splunk ITSI, and Splunk SOAR.
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, data onboarding, and search query language (SPL).
  • Experience with Splunk User Behavior Analytics.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in government environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $85.00 per hour
