About the Role:

This opportunity demands a seasoned Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, blending high-level architectural vision with hands-on implementation skills. Proven experience in an Application Architecture role is essential, alongside advanced proficiency in diagramming, technical documentation, programming, analysis, and project management. A robust background in application development and data modeling, augmented by IaC and automation capabilities, are qualities that diversify this role. Mastery of testing methodologies, combined with disciplined time management and delivery accountability, ensures consistently reliable and maintainable outcomes.

Initial responsibilities center on architecting and developing orchestration features for a data-centric platform currently under active development. An extensive backlog of enhancements requires prioritization and execution in collaboration with senior architects, engineers, and associate-level developers. The successful candidate will translate complex requirements into actionable designs, guide end-to-end implementation from concept through deployment, and uphold rigorous performance, security, and scalability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Lead cloud architecture planning, technical design sessions, and roadmap development.
• Collaborate with teams and coordinate timely delivery of work.
• Optimize existing Azure environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Participate in cloud governance and risk management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in a cloud application architecture role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security, etc.).
• Advanced programming in C#/.NET.
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and enterprise-scale cloud migrations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
