About Us

We're a fast-moving healthcare startup focused on improving patient health through medication monitoring and improving patient-pharmacy interactions. By combining modern web technologies and connected devices, we're helping healthcare providers and pharmacies proactively support patients in staying on track with their prescribed treatments.

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and play a hands-on role in building systems that support patient medication adherence, clinical dashboards, and integrations with medical IoT devices.

This is a highly autonomous role that reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO). You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and expected to take initiative, solve problems independently, and grow rapidly.

What You’ll Do

You’ll help design and develop features across our platform—ranging from patient-facing web apps to backend APIs and internal tools for care teams and pharmacies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Writing and optimizing MySQL queries to support application logic and reporting
• Participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and engineering discussions
• Debugging and improving systems based on real-world feedback from clinical use
• Working directly with the CIO to translate product goals into software solutions

Core Tech Stack

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, (Next.js a plus)
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, (Hapi framework a plus)
• Database: MySQL
• Infra: Docker, AWS (nice to have)
• Messaging: RabbitMQ (nice to have)
• Other: REST APIs, Git, Postman
• Bonus: Experience with IoT integrations or medical device data flows

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of real-world or project-based experience in software development
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript across frontend and backend
• Experience building applications using React and Node.js
• Comfort writing and reading SQL, particularly with MySQL
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively
• Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity about healthcare challenges
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving startup environment

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Next.js or Hapi
• Experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, AmazonMQ)
• Exposure to RabbitMQ or other messaging systems
• Interest or experience in IoT or connected medical devices
• Background in healthcare, pharmacy, or digital health
