Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. This role requires expertise across AWS services, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and monitoring frameworks, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Route53, and DynamoDB.
- Configure and maintain VPCs, security groups, storage solutions, and databases, ensuring adherence to enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Implement disaster recovery strategies and automate processes such as AMI refresh and backup policies using Lambda and EC2 Lifecycle Manager.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support ETL workflows through in-house tools and custom scripts; perform performance tuning of SQL queries in Snowflake for efficiency and cost optimization.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven to automate deployment processes.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker, and administer Kubernetes clusters across development, staging, and production environments.
- Implement traffic switch pipelines to enable automated releases and rollbacks while ensuring high availability through proactive monitoring and alerting.
- Develop automation scripts in Python to support infrastructure and operational tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
