SYSTEMTEC is seeking a UX Designer – Enterprise Applications for a hybrid opportunity (3 days a week onsite) in Columbia, SC. The candidate will lead the design and refinement of modern, user-centered interfaces for enterprise business applications, ensuring workflows are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams to translate operational needs into seamless digital experiences across both existing and newly developed platforms.

Required Qualifications of UX Designer – Enterprise Applications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Computer Science, Information Technology, Behavioral Research, or a related field; OR 4 years of relevant professional experience; OR 2 years of related experience plus an associate’s degree in a related discipline
• 2+ years of professional experience in UX and/or UI design
• Advanced proficiency using Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design
• Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements and translate them into intuitive design solutions
• Experience designing consistent user experiences across multiple integrated applications
• Working knowledge of JavaScript-based front-end environments
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and business stakeholders
• Experience incorporating user feedback and usability best practices throughout the design lifecycle

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Exposure to front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, or Vue.js
• Experience contributing directly to front-end implementation efforts
• Background designing enterprise-level or business-facing applications
• Familiarity with usability testing, user journey mapping, and iterative design methodologies

Responsibilities of the UX Designer – Enterprise Applications:

• Design and enhance user interfaces for enterprise business applications, including both enhancements and new builds
• Collaborate with business partners to understand workflows, user challenges, and functional requirements
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with usability standards and technical constraints
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of design solutions
• Maintain consistency in visual design, interaction patterns, and user experience across multiple applications
• Continuously refine designs based on stakeholder input, user feedback, and evolving business needs

Location: Hybrid (3 Days onsite a week) in Columbia, SC;
