Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mergers and Acquisitions Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions supporting our strategic mergers and acquisitions activities. Responsibilities

• Integration Strategy: Define and maintain the current, transition, and future state infrastructure architecture blueprints and roadmaps for acquisitions and divestitures.
• Transformation Mapping: Develop detailed plans and estimates for transitioning systems from their current state to the desired future state in coordination with the M&A center of excellence.
• Technical Design: Produce design documents and artifacts that enable engineering teams to deploy robust, flexible, and secure infrastructure solutions.+1
• Stakeholder Facilitation: Lead virtual or physical whiteboard sessions to gain alignment on integration direction across different organizational levels.+1
• Standards Advocacy: Promote and apply enterprise IT infrastructure portfolio standards and procedures within all recommendations and designs.+1
• Capacity Planning: Evaluate how incoming infrastructure impacts existing Operations and Engineering teams and provide readouts to inform downstream work planning.
• Technology Trends: Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to guide the effective integration or disentanglement of systems.

Qualifications

• M&A Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in technology integration, divestiture, and due diligence using structured architecture processes.+1
• Technical Breadth: Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one layer of the infrastructure stack with a comprehensive understanding of transport protocols, networking, compute, virtualization, storage (DAS/NAS/SAN), monitoring, and security.+1
• Cloud Knowledge: Working knowledge of cloud computing concepts, specifically IaaS and PaaS approaches.+1
• Design Experience: Proven track record in designing multi-tiered technology architectures and leading the implementation of architecture changes.+1
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor to both internal and external stakeholders.+1
• Tools: Proficiency in architecture modeling and the effective use of communication tools like PowerPoint and Lucid.+1
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as AWS, CCIE, Project Management, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven experience in group facilitation and alignment through whiteboarding sessions.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
