Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an understanding of the hospitality industry.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Ensure all public areas are kept clean and well-maintained, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Change bed linens and towels, restock amenities, and ensure that all rooms are ready for incoming guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the housekeeping management team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
