Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with team members to define project requirements and specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in software development.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
• Work within Agile methodologies to deliver projects on time.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and reliability.
• Maintain documentation for application development processes and procedures.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Skills

• Proficiency in Java and experience with application development.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as JavaScript, React Express, and front-end development frameworks.
• Experience with database management using MySQL or SQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and SVN.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud services including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C#, Python, C++, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Experience in Linux environments is beneficial.
• Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) principles is advantageous.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $53.82 - $64.81 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
