Job Title: Rich Media Digital Interactive Designer/Producer
Location: Remote (Must reside near Auburn Hills, MI for occasional onsite work)
Pay: 44.69/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a creative and technically proficient multimedia digital designer/developer to join our team. This individual will leverage tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, and emerging eLearning technologies to design, develop, and produce high-quality interactive training and communications content. This role is critical in shaping immersive digital experiences for training and reference materials.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
BA degree in Design, Multimedia Production, or a related field.
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web or multimedia design and production.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline, Rise, Review, etc.)
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, etc.)
- MS Office
- HTML5, CSS, and general web development technologies
- UX/UI design best practices
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and other coding languages a plus
- Familiarity with mobile learning and responsive design
- Soft Skills:
- Highly organized with excellent time management

- Self-motivated with a growth mindset and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional eLearning tools (e.g., Lectora, Captivate)
- Knowledge of the automotive or corporate training industry
- Experience using AI-enhanced design and multimedia tools
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM/xAPI standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Interactive Content:
Create and assemble graphic, motion, and multimedia assets using Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other authoring tools.
- Interface Design:
Define and implement interactive design elements including navigation, layout, user experience flow, multimedia mix, and timed activities.
- Production Execution:
Follow content and visual design documents and scripts to produce, assemble, and publish final eLearning and communication deliverables.
- Apply User-Centered Design Principles:
Ensure interfaces are intuitive, functional, and visually consistent across all screens and experiences.
- Creative Consistency:
Adhere to and extend brand style guides, applying consistent use of color, typography, motion, and layout throughout materials.
- Multimedia Asset Management:
Manipulate and optimize all asset types including text, graphics, animation, video, audio, and other media formats.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with designers, instructional designers, writers, project managers, and developers to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Present Work and Receive Feedback:
Share design progress with team members and stakeholders; revise work based on feedback.
- Follow Processes and Standards:
Apply internal standards and contribute to the evolution of design, production, and quality assurance processes.
- Stay Current with Tools and Trends:
Continuously explore new technologies, especially in AI-assisted design and production tools, to enhance workflow efficiency and content interactivity.
Additional Information:
- This is a remote role, but occasional onsite presence in Auburn Hills, MI is required.
