Senior Software Engineer – Sabhi™ (US Remote, Quarterly Onsite in Tampa)
Location: Remote (US Only)
Onsite: Quarterly in Tampa for alignment & roadmap work
Compensation: Senior-level salary + performance incentives (no equity)
Sabhi™ is the unified communications and operations platform for automotive recyclers and industrial parts businesses. We are replacing outdated, fragmented tools with a modern, streamlined system built for real-world operations.
We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of the platform, ensure long-term stability, and lead new development as we scale.
This is a high-autonomy engineering role working directly with the founder, shaping the future of the product while keeping the public-facing details appropriately discreet.
What You’ll Own
- Own the architecture, codebase, and core technical decision-making.
- Improve reliability, performance, and scalability across the platform.
- Lead end-to-end development of new features and enhancements.
- Maintain high engineering standards: testing, CI/CD, observability, documentation.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and systems as needed (details provided internally).
- Partner with UI/UX to deliver clean, intuitive user experiences.
- Translate business objectives into technical designs and execution plans.
- Establish long-term engineering patterns and guardrails as the team grows.
Who You Are
- 7+ years building and shipping SaaS products at senior or staff level.
- Comfortable taking over an existing codebase and tightening it up methodically.
- Strong systems thinker: you can balance speed with long-term maintainability.
- Excellent communicator — able to work closely with a founder who moves fast.
- Thrive in environments where clarity, initiative, and ownership matter.
- Understand how to build AI-enhanced workflows without getting swept up in hype.
Technical Experience
- TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js
- React or a similar modern frontend framework
- Cloud deployment (AWS preferred)
- Real-time messaging and data-heavy workflows
- API integration experience (necessary)
- Relational databases
- Bonus: mobile, AI integration, or transactional systems
