General Summary

Works from specifications to assist in developing and modifying moderately complex server side software and engineering a service oriented architecture (SOA) that enables rapid development of WellSpan solutions. Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs as well as database design. Competent to work on most phases of web service development and database design/implementation, but may require instruction and guidance in other phases. You will integrate a wide range of WellSpan services and deliver them to custom user experiences on many web enabled devices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Assists in problem analysis and preparation of programming specifications, including flowcharts.
• Writes programs to meet project specifications and scope.
• Tests and debugs programs for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepares technical documentation for each program written and process automated.
• Interacts with users through various phases of design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Meets with users and vendors to determine specifications of particular integration needs.
• Maintains proficiency in WellSpan adopted SOA technologies.
• Maintains proficiency in WellSpan adopted database technologies.
• Maintains proficiency in web browser technology

Minimum Education:

• Bachelors Degree Required

• 1 year Required
