Seeking a creative software developer who is skilled in Javascript, CSS, and Groovy development and Jira administration. Responsibilities

• Extend Atlassian products using Javascript-based programming to provide enhanced capabilities and automation
• Maintain and configure plug-ins / add-ons that provide enhanced capabilities
• Analyze current architecture and test platforms to formulate a vision for growth and expansion
• Collaboratively elaborate requirements with a dynamic team
• Perform detailed designs using sound software engineering principals

Requirements

• 4+ years demonstrated ability in Javascript, Groovy, and Jira Query Language (JQL)
• Experience in UI/UX best practices, 508 compliance, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with the Atlassian SDK, API calls, databases, and SQL
• Ability to clearly define and document products and application changes based on requests and updates
• Ability to work with multiple teams and staff at all levels of experience and seniority
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated ability to develop using Java and/or Python
• Develop and deploy plugins to extend Confluence and JIRA capabilities
• RESTful APIs/JSON
• Mobile development
• Ability to turn business requirements into technical requirements and create a work plan and schedule
• Experience working with Agile development and DevOps processes
• Team leadership skills and experience

Education and Eligibility

• BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Additional experience may be considered in place of a Bachelor's degree
• Must be a US Citizen and eligible for security clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
