Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and systems. You will ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install and Configure Software and Hardware: Oversee the installation and configuration of new software and hardware components.
- VM Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment of new virtual machine requests.
- Software Installation Support: Provide support for software installation requests.
- Vendor Ticket Management: Manage the lifecycle of vendor tickets.
- Server Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with virtual and physical Windows servers.
- Linux VM Troubleshooting: Address and troubleshoot issues related to Linux virtual machines.
- SCCM Environment Support: Provide support for the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment.
- Backup/Restore Support: Assist with backup and restore operations.
Skill:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrable ability to think around issues and look at the wider picture to provide solutions through a variety of problem-solving techniques.
· Ability to manage own time effectively and to be prompt and punctual
· Installation, Configuration, and troubleshooting of the PC/Laptops/Mobile, Servers, Backups and VMware
· Strong Experience in Configuration & Troubleshooting of Windows 2019/2022 Servers, Ubuntu Linux and Windows 10/11
· Knowledge of scripting/PowerShell, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, RAID types, servers, virtualization, Networking (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN systems, LAN protocols, VPN/SSL solutions, and Antivirus/Malware solutions
· Resolve issues with M365, Email, servers, and virtualization
· Experience in performing daily tasks like monitoring Backups and Restores of critical data
· Experience in working effectively within a team and collaborating with others to achieve a goal.
· Drive, self-motivation, and the ability to work under self-initiative.
· Enthusiastic about learning new technologies
· (Problem Solving) Proven ability to contribute to the analysis and fix IT problems.
(Teamwork) Work with teams globally to implement large-scale IT initiatives.
· (Listening Communication Skills) Leads through listening to others and articulating clear, compelling messages
