Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our organization's technology infrastructure and ensure the efficient operation of our IT services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering, technical support, and IT service management. Duties
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including databases, DHCP, and vSphere environments.
- Oversee IT service management processes to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Lead systems engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Utilize Solarwinds for monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Provide technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software problems efficiently.
- Implement project management tools such as Jira to track progress and manage tasks effectively.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of databases, DHCP configurations, vSphere virtualization, and systems engineering principles.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using Solarwinds for network monitoring and performance analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical support background with the capability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira is a plus.
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
