Encompass Experiences, LLC

Encompass Experiences in Boston seeks a motivated and energetic lecturer with a background in American History, particularly in relationship to Boston's role in colonial/revolutionary period. Four lectures/seminars, as well as helping students prepare presentations will be given on the Lesley University campus to visiting Japanese university students. Lectures are to be given the mornings of September 5, 10, 11, and 16. Each day will be approximately three hours. This individual should be able to take initiative, possess an energetic and outgoing personality, and have a genuine interest in connecting with students interested in learning about early American history, focusing on Boston's role in the formation of our nation. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about expanding the horizons of our students through their teaching.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching 23 Japanese university students in American and specifically Boston history.
• Serving as a positive role model for international students, fostering an interest in American history and culture.
• Maintaining a positive and organized classroom environment.
• Demonstrating a commitment to excellent student service through innovative and programming.
• Collaborating with program staff to ensure the smooth execution of the program schedule.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
