Job Summary
The Job:
- Manage and mentor a team of contractors/technicians, with plans to grow the team over time
- Own client relationships and become the trusted point of contact for our clients
- Oversee service delivery including tickets, SLAs, escalations, and project work
- Drive documentation of processes and client environments
- Report on operational performance, client health, and service metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, margins, and client satisfaction
- Coordinate with leadership on growth strategy and service offerings
- This is a build and run role, not just maintenance. Candidate to take ownership and work alongside original owners during a transitionary period

Should have:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT role with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technical role
- Hands-on familiarity with the tools above (or similar)
- Strong client-facing communication skills and comfortable being the primary relationship holder
- Experience managing technicians, contractors, or small teams
- Operationally minded. Need someone to think about process, documentation, and margins and not just fixing things
- Comfortable with M365 administration, networking fundamentals, and security best practices
Nice to have:
- Experience with acquisitions or business transitions
- Relevant certs (Microsoft, Sophos, Datto, CompTIA, etc.)
- Experience scaling a small team or building out processes from scratch
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
