Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

EDI Management:

  • Design, implement, and maintain EDI solutions for trading partners.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions and workflows.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless data exchange.

E-Commerce Integration:

  • Support and maintain Shopify or similar platforms.
  • Integrate e-commerce systems with ERP and EDI workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize online store performance and data flows.

IT Support & Infrastructure:

  • Provide Tier 1–3 support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Help the Team Maintain and upgrade systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Manage related user accounts, permissions, and security protocols.

Systems Integration & Automation:

  • Support integration between ERP systems, EDI platforms, and e-commerce tools and websites.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) preferred.
  • Project management or vendor coordination experience.
  • 3+ years in an IT generalist or systems support role required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proven experience with EDI platforms (e.g., SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, IBM Sterling) and strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT).
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with networking, Windows environments, and cloud services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments and work processes.
  • Physical ability to move equipment such as printers up and down stairs as needed.
  • Good attendance is a must.
  • On-site position, NO remote work available
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.66 - $29.70 per hour
