Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic IT Director to lead our organization's technology vision and operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive IT strategies that align with our business goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, virtualization environments like vSphere, and data storage solutions including SANs and Oracle databases.
  • Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with standards such as PCI DSS, NIST frameworks, and industry best practices for network security.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, cloud services, and consulting engagements to maximize value.
  • Drive software development projects utilizing Agile methodologies; oversee application development using technologies like Java, C#, .NET, PHP, Node.js, React, Angular, and Python to support business needs.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to ensure operational resilience across all systems.
  • Lead system administration tasks including Active Directory management, DNS configuration, firewall setup, VPN access control, VoIP systems, Microsoft Exchange management, and system upgrades.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by fostering innovation through AI/ML applications and DevOps practices; oversee SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes for quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance policies while managing budgets effectively for projects and operational expenses.
  • Support senior leadership by providing analysis skills for decision-making related to IT investments and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing enterprise IT environments with expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure including MPLS networks, VPNs, DNS management, WAN/LAN configurations, MPLS networks, and network security protocols.
  • Extensive background in system administration covering Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server databases, Oracle databases, Linux/Unix systems, VMware vSphere virtualization environments, SAN storage solutions, and server management.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript (including React), Python, PHP; frameworks like Angular and React Express; as well as familiarity with APIs for integration purposes.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity standards including PCI DSS compliance; experience implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs; knowledge of NIST standards is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams within an Agile environment; excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans; expertise in risk management and business continuity planning.
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks; vendor management experience; proficiency in project management methodologies including SDLC practices.
  • Educational background in Computer Science or related field; certifications such as CISSP or PMP are advantageous. Join us to lead our technological transformation! Pay: $80,000.00 per year
