Who we are:

Working America is the community affiliate of the AFL-CIO, the largest federation of labor unions in the country. We are a nonprofit which reaches out to the community to fight for issues that are affecting working families throughout the country.

The Job:

We go door-to-door doing community outreach to build lasting power among the working class. Our hours are from 12:30pm to 9pm, perfect for those who prefer a night shift. Issues that we advocate for include:

Qualifications:

Experience in warehouse, retail, customer service, server, social work, or receptionist roles are helpful but not required. Strong communication skills and an interest in supporting workers are what matter most.
