Globetrotters is seeking a Microsoft System and Azure Engineer who has robust technical expertise and the communication acumen to effectively convey complex issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite executives. This is a full-time, in-office position.

In this role, you will:

• Help establish architecture and standards methodology
• Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• Develop and execute solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent of reactive work.
• Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary
• Assure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions
• Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation
• Communicates the architecture to stakeholders
• Other duties, as assigned

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in infrastructure and network architecture
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Azure Resource Manager.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Intune Computer Architecture
• Previously has worked in Managed Services
• Ability to work five days a week in office

Salary range is 100,000 – 130,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
