Cybersecurity Analyst / Information Assurance Specialist TS/SCI Clearance Required

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required, supported by a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) within the past five (5) years.
  • Onsite position within a SCIF

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • Information Systems
  • Computer Science
  • Cybersecurity
  • Computer Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Or a closely related technical field

Certifications (minimum of one required):

  • CompTIA Security+ (SEC+ CE)
  • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
  • EC-Council Network Security Administrator (ENSA)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience performing Navy Information Assurance (IA) or cybersecurity functions.

Role Description & Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Analyst / Information Assurance Specialist will support mission-critical systems by providing cybersecurity and IA expertise throughout the system lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing general information assurance and cybersecurity technical issues
  • Providing recommendations and technical support to resolve security-related problems
  • Assessing and supporting the implementation of solutions that meet network security requirements
  • Performing vulnerability and risk assessments on computer systems and applications during all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Supporting and executing tasks related to the Risk Management Framework (RMF), including:
  • Development of RMF documentation packages
  • Review and validation of RMF artifacts
  • Ensuring systems comply with applicable DoD, Navy, and federal cybersecurity policies and standards
