Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer – Onsite Position

Location: Las Vegas, NV - Onsite

Role Overview:

Tix4 is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the design, development, and evolution of our live events ticketing platform. This role will be responsible for building scalable, high‑performance web applications that support both online ticket sales and point‑of‑sale (POS) transactions across multiple distribution channels.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with deep experience in PHP (Laravel), modern JavaScript frameworks, API integrations, and cloud‑based architectures. This person will play a critical role in modernizing our platform, improving performance, and enabling new business capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using PHP (Laravel), JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Architect and implement new platform features supporting online ticket sales, POS systems, and partner integrations.
• Refactor and modernize legacy code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.

System Architecture & Scalability

• Lead architectural decisions to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design modular, service‑oriented components that support future platform growth.
• Optimize database performance, queries, and indexing strategies.
• Improve system observability, logging, and monitoring.

Frontend Development

• Develop responsive, high‑performance user interfaces.
• Improve conversion rates through UX and performance optimizations.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Integration & Data

• Integrate with third‑party APIs including ticketing partners, payment processors, Design and maintain data models and backend services.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid‑level developers.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in technical planning, sprint planning, and architecture discussions.
• DevOps & Reliability
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Work with cloud infrastructure and hosting environments.
• Ensure platform stability, uptime, and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript (Vue, React, or similar)
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
• Strong experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
• Experience working with Git and modern development workflows
• Experience working on production web applications at scale
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and performance optimization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on e‑commerce, ticketing, or transaction‑based platforms
• Experience modernizing monolithic applications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with POS systems or real‑time transaction environments
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Memcached)
• Experience with event‑driven or microservice architectures

Technical Environment

Our platform integrates with multiple ticketing providers and powers ticket sales across web, mobile, and in‑person channels. This role will play a key part in the continued evolution and scalability of our platform.
