IT SCADA Administrator

Join GTS Customer as a Key Technical Specialist: 100% Onsite, Direct Hire

This is a direct hire, fully onsite opportunity supporting critical SCADA systems within a dynamic environment. Position Details

· Direct Hire position with GTS customer

· 100% onsite in Midlothian, TX

· Salary starting at $80,500 annually

· Two-step onsite interview process

· On-call rotation required (24/7 support environment)

Roles & Responsibilities

· Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA and industrial control systems, including hardware and software installations and updates.

· Respond to IT tickets and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.

· Provide technical support, including conducting research, analysis, and system improvements.

· Assist with inventory management, software testing, and vendor communications.

· Collaborate on special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience.

· At least 2 years’ experience maintaining SCADA systems in a technical support role.

· Proficiency with SCADA platforms such as Pera, Wonderware, Allen Bradley HMI, and VLCs.

· Strong skills with Microsoft desktop operating systems and IT hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile devices).

· Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

· Experience configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks, VLANs, IP routing, and network switches (Cisco preferred).

· Background in writing technical documentation for software and system interfaces.

· Familiarity with PERA framework and SCADA system management.

· Experience in field environments and with 24/7 operational support.

· Customer service-oriented mindset; effective team communication.

Licenses & Certifications

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (reimbursement for business mileage provided).

· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) strongly preferred but not required.

Special Requirements

· Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire.

· Ability to work on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies.

· Mobility to work within office and field environments as needed.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $80,500.00 per year
