The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT systems, servers, and related infrastructure. This role ensures the stability, security, and optimal performance of critical systems while providing technical support to end-users and collaborating with IT teams on projects and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications (Windows, Linux, or hybrid environments).
• Monitor system performance and availability; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory, Exchange, and other systems.
• Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management.
• Ensure system security through updates, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with IT policies.
• Support virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Systems Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange/Office 365.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
