Small IT Services company seeking Service Manager/Escalations Engineer

We are a small but quickly growing IT Services Provider that serves customers primarily in the S. Puget Sound area. We are looking to grow our currently small team of talented, reliable techs and plan on doubling our size within the next few years.

Our small team needs an experienced IT Engineer with the ability to lead our growing Service Department to ensure that service benchmarks are being met, and that customers are happy. Since our team is currently small, we are looking for an IT Engineer that can act as a Service Manager to oversee and enhance our service delivery, but also jump in and handle escalations and assist on Projects.

Qualifications:

- Must strive for personal excellence, holding high standards for both self and other team members

- Minimum of 3 years experience successfully managing or leading a technical team

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with Customers, vendors, and other Team members

- Must have at least 4 years of experience working performing all or most of the following in production environments:

o- MS Active Directory Administration including creating and managing AD users, objects, and Group Policies

o- Server and network hardware administration including setting/installing Server hardware including RAID arrays, firewalls, switches, wireless APs, and other network devices

o- Windows Server Administration and Configuration including installation and configuration of MS Windows Server OS and configuring network services such as DNS/DHCP/File Sharing/Permissions/Backups, etc.

o- Network administration including setup and management of Network technologies such as Email (O365 or Exchange), Cloud Technologies (Azure, etc), VPN, RDGateway, 2FA, MDM, AV/SIEM/security software, etc.

o- Experience designing, upgrading, and installing IT Networks and implementing other IT Projects from end-to-end

You must also be able to pass a background check in order to work with our law enforcement (police stations) and education (work around minors) customers.

This position is onsite at our office in Tacoma, and also requires onsite visits at Client sites mostly in the South end. Starting rate is between 85K and 90K DOE for qualifying candidates but there is definitely room for growth from there.
