Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department. This pivotal role involves overseeing the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT management, including expertise in databases, server management, and risk management, as well as a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.

Duties

• Develop and execute the IT strategy to support the organization's objectives.
• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and VPNs.
• Lead the implementation of DevOps practices to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.
• Oversee disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity measures are in place.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate machine learning solutions where applicable.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure necessary resources.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and processes, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT leadership roles with a strong understanding of information technology systems.
• Proficiency in databases, server management, VPNs, and cloud services such as Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and machine learning applications is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in disaster recovery planning and risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.
• Exceptional negotiation skills for vendor management and contract discussions.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
