We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Technician / Engineer for our NOC.

CCNA or Juniper certifications are a huge plus.

This is position is not remote. Only applicants near Anchorage Alaska will be considered. A background check is required prior to start date.

This position is full time on a 6 month contract-to-hire at a great company.
Competitive salary, but no benefits during 6 month contract term, during which you will be a W-2 employee of our company.

Salary will be DOE and range from $79,000 per year to a maximum of $92,000 per year for the contract period.

Overview

Network Engineer with 3+ years of experience monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex enterprise and industrial network environments. Expertise across Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) domains, three-tier architectures for critical infrastructure clients.

Experience with network modernization, security segmentation, and field communications projects for utilities, telecoms, and energy operators is a plus.

Key Skills & Technical Strengths

• Experience with enterprise and industrial networks using Cisco, Juniper, and/or Palo Alto platforms.
• Monitoring & Management: Experienced with SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco DNA, and NetBox for proactive performance and security visibility.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

• Certifications: CCNA, Juniper
• CompTIA Security+ / CySA+
• Azure or AWS Architect Associate

Professional Traits

• Strong communication skills; able to translate between engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams.
• Excellent documentation and troubleshooting practices supporting quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
