Job description
A local company out of Sacramento is searching for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk who will have core responsibilities that include heavy lifting, manual labor, and scheduling all outbound deliveries. Position is full time, temp to hire!
Shipping/Receiving Clerk highlights:
- Quality and accuracy control for all outbound production orders
- Prepares shipments by assembling, counting, packing, protecting, and labeling boxes
- Verifies items received by inspecting condition of goods, compares count to purchase order
- Unloads containers and stocks shelves
What we look for in a Shipping/Receiving Clerk:
- Must have minimum 1-2 years relevant experience
- Ability to read a tape measure, safely operate forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Positive attitude, highly motivated
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours are 7:30am to 4pm with overtime as needed
