Job Description:

We’re looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on front-end development to join our remote-first engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in building responsive user interfaces, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is comfortable contributing to back-end and database layers when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive web and mobile user interfaces using React and JavaScript (ES6)
• Translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, functional interfaces
• Collaborate with product and design teams to implement user-focused features
• Build and maintain scalable, secure back-end services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Framework
• Write optimized SQL queries for MySQL or PostgreSQL databases
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability across the stack
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, testable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across the front and back end

Required Skills and Experience:

Front-End Focus (Primary):

• 3+ years of experience with React, JavaScript (ES6), and CSS
• Strong understanding of responsive design and front-end performance optimization

Back-End Experience (Secondary):

• Proficiency with Java and the Spring Framework
• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs

Database Knowledge:

• Proficient in SQL; hands-on with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with query tuning and data modeling

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with API integration and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS)
• Background check required
• Must reside in the United States

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Redux for state management
• Familiarity with React Native/Expo for mobile app development
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, or Athena
• Scripting experience in Python
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity for container orchestration
