HVAC Sales/Service Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Oh No Plumbing & Air Conditioning, LLC is here for all your Residential Plumbing and HVAC service needs. Are you an experienced and skilled HVAC/Plumbing Sales/Service Manager who is tired of being just a number or judged by your last sale? If so, Oh No Plumbing is looking for qualified Residential Plumbing/HVAC Sales/Service Manager to work within a fast-paced environment and to grow with an industry leading home services company.

This position will be located out of our central valley location in Phoenix, AZ. Successful candidates will be a skilled problem solver, well organized, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties. This position provides direct support and contact in the sales and service of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets. This position is responsible for maximizing sales revenue through a network of outside sales representatives.

Job Duties:

  • Contact regular and prospective representatives to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Recommend products to representatives, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Answer representative/customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Prepare estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
  • Train representatives to operate programs provided.
  • Prepare order forms.
  • Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
  • Responsible for identifying and closing business opportunities for assigned territory, and fully executing against revenue and margin targets for the product line.
  • Represent Oh No plumbing in a positive and professional manner.
  • Work with all Sales Managers and Product Sales Representatives to satisfy customer and achieve company goals.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
  • Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts, data gathering and reports. Participate in sales and productivity meetings.
  • Provide the point of customer contact for inquiries such as pricing, sales, quotation, product information, shipments, distributor search information and orders.
  • Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries.
  • Process orders and quotations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Actively pursue and close new business opportunities, working closely with sales representatives to ensure geography based objectives are met.
  • This position requires exceptional organizational skills and time management techniques, negotiation skills, attention to detail, strong problem solving skills, the ability to travel (visiting representatives, establishing representatives, conducting training, etc.), and a natural ability to engage in and develop business relationships.
  • Comply with established safety policies and procedures. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment as directed. Use appropriate tools designed for their specific job tasks. Provide feedback related to hazard assessments and/or accident investigations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of residential HVAC/Plumbing sales experience
  • At least 3 years of HVAC/plumbing sales management experience
  • Excellent communication skills interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Self-starter
