DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform daily maintenance and safety inspection of forklift and motor vehicle prior to operation. Ensures deficiencies are corrected or reported, as necessary.

2. Transports heavy lift materials from receiving docks to proper storage areas in manufacturing facility. Performs loading, transporting and unloading without damaging materials.

3. Stack materials safely and securely.

4. Transports heavy lift materials from various locations in the production areas without damage.

5. Assist central supply with filling plant orders and organizing inventories

6. Load materials onto motor vehicles (by hand, if necessary) transport them to required locations, and remove them accurately and without damage.

7. Follow all safety and operational rules and regulations while operating forklift and motor vehicles.

8. Keep equipment clean and well maintained.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be dependable.

2. Must have good mechanical comprehension.

3. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
