About the Role
Quantum Solutions is building an enterprise-grade cryptographic discovery, inventory, and risk assessment platform. We are looking for a senior backend engineer to design and build secure, production-grade services that operate inside complex enterprise environments. We are looking for strong hands-on experience in engineering secure backend systems, working with cryptography, PKI, TLS, and enterprise security tooling. You will help architect and engineer our core cryptographic sensor service layer, which deploys through existing endpoint/security platforms and as standalone secure modules inside customer environments.

What You'll Build Backend services and APIs for: o Cryptographic asset discovery o Cryptographic inventory and metadata normalization o Risk assessment and prioritization workflows Secure sensor architectures that deploy: o Via existing endpoint agents (e.g., CrowdStrike, Tanium, Tenable) o As standalone, containerized services on customer hosts/networks Scalable ingestion pipelines for cryptographic and IT system metadata CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure deployment workflows Integrations with cloud platforms and enterprise security tools.

Required
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in security-focused or enterprise systems
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, and Node.js
- Experience building secure APIs and distributed services
- Experience integrating with external APIs / SDKs
- Experience building secure APIs and distributed services
- Hands-on experience with: o Docker & Kubernetes o GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems
- Comfortable designing and implementing SQL and graph-based data models

- Experience working with Azure services (where our platform is hosted)
- Solid understanding of: o TLS/SSL o PKI (certificates, key management, trust chains) o Cryptographic protocols and secure communications
- Familiar with enterprise tools such as: o Tanium o Tenable o CrowdStrike o ServiceNow
- Experience building or supporting risk scoring, prioritization, or analytics engines
- Exposure to AI/ML systems used for scoring, classification, or decision support
