Systems Administrator
We are currently recruiting an Systems Administrator with a strong foundation in IT support, infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and cybersecurity best practices. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with excellent technical and communication skills, looking to grow within a dynamic IT environment. This role is critical to keeping our business running reliably and securely.
Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Helpdesk Operations
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization.
- Respond promptly to user inquiries via the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, Windows OS, and Apple mobile devices.
- Support desktop security, antivirus, and patch management processes.
- Maintain and build our ITSM platform.
2. IT Infrastructure & Systems Maintenance
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including workstations, printers, and network devices.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity, DNS, DHCP).
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory and manage lifecycle processes.
3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Support cybersecurity initiatives by enforcing security policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on endpoint protection, user access controls, and suspicious activity.
- Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, ensuring proper access provisioning and deprovisioning.
4. Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Conduct IT orientation and training sessions for new employees on tools, security awareness, and best practices.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions to improve system reliability and user experience.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, security threats, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role, with exposure to IT infrastructure and cybersecurity practices.
- 1+ years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with Apple mobile device management and support.
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player who demonstrates a team-first mindset acknowledging the contributions of others, is self-motivated to deliver beyond expectations, and maintains awareness of personal and team dynamics.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or Security+) are a plus.
- College degree in IT or related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
