If your happy place is fast queries, clean schemas, sharp runbooks, and zero drama at midnight, we’d like to meet you. We’re building the data layer that powers AI/ML, recommendation engines, knowledge graphs, and high-throughput systems — and we need a DBA who treats reliability like a product.
What you’ll do

• Install, tune, and operate PostgreSQL at scale: indexes, partitioning, autovacuum, replication, HA/DR drills.
• Design and run graph DBs (Neo4j/Neptune/TigerGraph) and vector search (pgvector, Milvus, Pinecone).
• Optimize performance: diagnose lock contention, query plans, and I/O bottlenecks.
• Implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, pganalyze) and proactive alerting.
• Ensure security & compliance (RLS, encryption, audit logging).
• Automate with IaC and CI/CD for schema migrations.

What you bring:

• 5+ years administering production databases with strong PostgreSQL expertise.
• Experience with graph and vector databases in production.
• SQL performance tuning, HA/DR, and backup/restore under real load.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes operators, cloud DB services, and scripting/automation.

The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $120,000.00. Please note that the quoted pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) experience, including industry or specific experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and/or other applicable laws.
