Remote Full Stack Senior Dev for the Long-Haul

We are looking for an enthusiastic remote full stack developer to join our team full-time.. and be apart of this project as well as core projects down the road.

You would be tasked with building (alongside a team) internal tools, and software that can be standalone products marketed to the outside world.

Who we are:

We are a $100m+ nutraceutical factory and fulfillment center. The company makes dietary supplements for other companies and connects directly to their websites (via proprietary software) to fulfill their orders daily.

The company has been around over 10 years and we have several developers who have been with us the majority of the journey.

**We are looking for a long term partnership where you can grow and we can produce beautiful work together.

What is the main project today:

We are building an ERP for our nutraceutical factory. Essentially this is a dense internal software that handles everything from supply chain, inventory management, accounting, and creating formulas/products.

This is at the final stages of a minimal viable product and has been worked on for the past year with a team of 6 talented team members.

Where it will go:

After we launch this internally.. we will be taking it to market. Before we do that however.. we need to make it GREAT.

There are plenty of features not yet coded that would be greatly beneficial to other companies and us. We need sharp help to allow us to implement these in a timely manner while adhering to our code guidelines and not compromising the integrity of the project - - this is a large system with many interconnected aspects.. so not double-checking code before it’s pushed, and not inserting a high level of care is a sure way to ‘break’ things that were otherwise working.

New features to come include somethings that are relatively straight forward, visual and engaging dashboards and screens not typically associated with enterprise software, experimenting with ai models in different areas, and working on apis to integrate with other popular systems.

You:

This is for someone with a positive mindset, that loves to create, and has a high attention-to-detail.

Here is a short list of some of what's to be expected. If you read the following and it resonates, thats a good start:

• Improve reliability: tests, code reviews, CI, release process
• Refactor safely: reduce coupling, improve data model/migrations
• Performance + correctness in inventory/manufacturing flows
• Build new modules without regressions

Experience:

• While we don't require a strict amount of total years experienced in the field, the following is what is preferred:
• 5+ years building production web apps (prefer 7+)
• 3+ years with TypeScript + React in production
• Strong in either Python (Django/FastAPI) or Node (NestJS); comfortable working across both over time
• Proven track record improving quality: testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, migrations
