PayRange is looking for detail-obsessed Field Inspection Associates to help ensure our laundry machine upgrades are installed to perfection—because every sticker, switch, and setting matters.

About the Role:
PayRange is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Field Inspection Associates to inspect the work at apartment buildings where our Field Technicians have recently upgraded laundry machines to accept mobile, cashless payments.

In this role, you’ll visit locations immediately after an installation is completed, complete a detailed checklist using an online form, and verify that the technician followed all steps required for a successful install.

The patented approach leverages the user’s smartphone and network connectivity eliminating the need to connect the machine to a network enabling rapid upgrades of existing machines.

PayRange is reinventing how people pay “things” and bringing these legacy machines rapidly into the digital age with not only cashless payment, but also remote visibility for the machine owner fueling analytics and business improvements like never before. We're rolling out cutting-edge technology across New York City and nearby areas—and we're looking for a sharp-eyed Secret Shopper to verify and confirm successful upgrades at each location.

Responsibilities:

• Visit designated apartment buildings after a PayRange upgrade is completed
• Complete a quality control checklist to validate installation steps were followed
• Verify that signage has been properly installed and outdated signage removed
• Ensure machine technology is properly installed and powered on
• Confirm prices displayed on each machine are consistent and accurate
• Upload before-and-after photos of the laundry room and machines
• Engage with property owners or staff as needed to gather additional context
• Report any discrepancies or issues promptly

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Tech-savvy – able to confidently use smartphone apps, online forms, and web browsers
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
• Own a smartphone with internet access and camera
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to follow instructions precisely
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with on-site contacts
• Able to work in the field across the New Jersey area

Schedule & Pay:

• $30/hour
• 8–10 hour shifts available
• Minimum of 40 hours a week
• Company does not reimburse for mileage, gas, parking or tolls
