Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic IT Operations Manager to lead and optimize our organization’s technology infrastructure and services. Duties

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including servers, networks, databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Oversee virtualization environments utilizing VMware and vSphere to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Manage IT service management processes aligned with ITIL best practices to deliver reliable support services via tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
• Supervise network engineering activities including Cisco routers, LAN/WAN configurations, firewall management, and network security protocols to safeguard organizational data.
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime during unforeseen events.
• Oversee vendor relationships for hardware, software, and cloud services ensuring cost-effective procurement and compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide technical leadership for projects involving system engineering, software development, database administration (SQL Server), and remote access solutions.
• Supervise a team of IT professionals providing desktop support, server management, cybersecurity measures, and technical troubleshooting across diverse platforms including Windows, Linux, and SharePoint environments.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance policies while continuously evaluating emerging technologies such as Azure Active Directory or SolarWinds for enhanced network monitoring.
• Develop comprehensive reports on system performance metrics using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint to inform strategic decision-making.

Experience

• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT operations within a fast-paced environment with a focus on infrastructure management and service delivery.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure alongside virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere.
• Strong background in network engineering including LAN/WAN design, Cisco routers configuration, firewall setup, and network security best practices.
• Extensive knowledge of database administration using Microsoft SQL Server or similar systems coupled with disaster recovery planning skills.
• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks based on ITIL principles along with experience using ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking and workflow automation.
• Supervisory experience leading cross-functional teams in technical support, systems engineering, or project management roles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
