Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our organization's technology infrastructure and ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT service management, project management, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can effectively manage IT projects while ensuring the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure.
Duties
- Lead and manage the IT department, providing direction and support to team members.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Ensure the security of information systems by implementing best practices in information security and network security.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with contracts.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Supervise technical support operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to desktop support, server management, and network support.
- Utilize project management methodologies (Agile) to oversee IT projects from inception to completion.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes, including system configurations, network diagrams, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Analyze system performance metrics using tools like SolarWinds and provide recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT management role with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, VMware vSphere, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, Cisco routers, DHCP, LAN/WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework for IT service management.
- Experience with SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira for project tracking and documentation.
- Proficient in technical support practices including desktop support and server management.
- Understanding of computer networking principles and systems engineering concepts.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong time management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex issues related to databases and network infrastructure.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
