A professional organization is seeking an experienced Temporary IT Director to provide short-term leadership and oversight of IT operations. This role is ideal for a senior IT professional who can step in quickly, stabilize systems, and support business continuity during a transitional period.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of IT operations and infrastructure
• Oversee system performance, security, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues
• Manage vendors, consultants, and third-party service providers
• Support end users with hardware, software, and network issues as needed
• Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with internal policies
• Document systems, procedures, and ongoing IT initiatives

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or management
• Degree in Cybersecurity is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and end-user support
• Experience acting as a stand-alone or senior IT leader preferred
• Ability to quickly assess environments and implement solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
