FCC Finance is looking for an Entry-Level Database Administrator (DBA) with IT responsibilities. This position will have cross functional responsibilities with Programming and IT teams responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases while supporting the automation of development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and maintenance of our Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres databases.
• Support database performance tuning and optimization.
• Help ensure data integrity and security.
• Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to support database-related projects and troubleshoot issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of relational databases specifically Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres.
• Knowledge in database security, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
• Knowledge of database scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL) and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Relevant coursework or internship experience in database administration is a plus.
• Familiar with other technologies such as Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Server

Work Environment:

• This position is located in North Dallas and requires in-office presence three days a week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• MySQL: 3 years (Required)
• Database administration: 1 year (Required)
• Oracle: 1 year (Preferred)
