Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Unix Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Unix-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of system architecture, IT infrastructure, and various operating systems. The Unix Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Job Description

• Support Client Unix Operating system running critical ERP application
• Perform patch & package management, security, server hardening, etc.
• Provide user management, performance analysis, capacity planning and monitoring
• Troubleshooting hardware and operating system related issues
• Configuration and administration of LVM and Veritas logical volume manager
• Installation and configuration of HA environment
• Provide in server management (Server build/ migration, etc.)
• Support backup management software

Essential Skills and Competencies

• A minimum of 15 years of administration of Unix environments
• A minimum of 10 years supporting mission critical applications running on HP _UX
• Experience supporting storage and blade technology
• Good understanding of routing and switching technologies

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $78,613.90 - $94,674.80 per year
