At FanConnect, we provide technology products to enhance fan experience in sports and entertainment venues. Our platform is trusted by top-tier stadiums across the country – including Lincoln Financial Field, Petco Park, Heinz Field, The Horseshoe, The Big House, The Swamp, XFINITY Center, and many more.
We’re building the next generation of in-venue experiences, and we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with proven experience scaling and maintaining complex production systems to help us optimize the infrastructure that powers what fans see during the game.
What You’ll Do
- Design and manage cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and improve developer velocity
- Create internal tools and automation that empower engineering to ship faster and safer
- Enhance system observability with robust logging, monitoring, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.)
- Ensure security, compliance, and reliability across environments
- Own and improve disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Optimize availability, resilience, and cost efficiency across services
- Collaborate closely with engineers to enhance developer experience and delivery workflows
- Guide architecture and infrastructure decisions as we scale
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience
- Deep knowledge with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
- Deep knowledge with observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, or similar
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and distributed system fundamentals
- Bonus: experience with Rails or TypeScript-based systems
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
