Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team to work in the clam business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the business by assisting with harvesting, planting, and grading product. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in harvesting clams using a water rake. This will require repeated lifting of over 50 lbs throughout the day while we are harvesting
• Assist in planting seed among tidal lease in plots
• Grade clams using mechanical grading equipment

Skills

• Those with previous experience working directly with clams or oysters will receive priority.
• Prior experience running a boat is not neccessary but is certainly a plus and will help with future advancement.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
