Job Summary

Sabalinks, Inc seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's IT infrastructure by implementing security measures, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets while adhering to industry standards such as NIST and ISO.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security analysis and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses in the network.
  • Implement and manage security measures across various platforms including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
  • Develop and maintain system security plans in compliance with NIST standards, ISO 27000 series, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity using tools like Splunk and New Relic.
  • Respond to security incidents promptly, conducting incident management and recovery procedures as necessary.
  • Support identity & access management initiatives through authentication protocols such as SSO and RBAC.
  • Engage in threat intelligence activities to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in the development of disaster recovery plans and incident response strategies.
  • Document security policies, procedures, and best practices for ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity principles including network security, system hardening, encryption methods, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with WAN/LAN technologies, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network protocols (TCP/IP).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
  • Knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Linux (Debian, CentOS), macOS, and UNIX variants.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, FISMA, DIACAP, COBIT.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite for vulnerability research and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $99,342.30 - $119,638.03 per year
