AWS Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

The Cleared AWS Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) for government clients. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and security protocols, along with the ability to work with classified information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud architectures that meet client requirements, including scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement AWS best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams and clients.
• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with government regulations and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Active security clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret).
• Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.
• Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working with federal government clients.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,606.00 - $178,562.00 per year
