Our clients include start-ups, recreational and medical use Cannabis dispensaries, Canna brands, and B2B service providers. About the Job:

We’re currently looking to add a Junior Support Developer to our team to help us build, maintain, and improve websites for awesome local and national Canna-brands! In this client-facing role, you’ll act as a key point of contact for our customers, helping troubleshoot website bugs, address technical issues, and implement new feature requests. You’ll collaborate closely with our project managers, designers, and developers to deliver timely solutions and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support a growing list of client websites via FreshDesk
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and functionality issues
  • Implement website updates, content changes, and feature enhancements
  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and explain technical solutions clearly and professionally, via email and occasional video calls
  • Educate clients on best practices for using and managing their WordPress websites
  • Collaborate with the CannaPlanners team to scope and deliver client projects
  • Stay current with web design, coding, SEO, and accessibility best practices

  • Autonomous and adaptable — able to pivot between troubleshooting, feature development, and client communication
  • Passionate about web development, with a sharp eye for detail and a drive to deliver polished, functional websites
  • Always eager to learn and stay up to date with the latest in web technology, design trends, and best practices

Must Haves:

  • Thorough knowledge of WordPress and WordPress theme development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience working with PHP and custom WordPress templates or child themes
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and enjoy learning from those around you
  • A knack for explaining complex issues to clients who may not be tech-savvy
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with React
  • Familiarity with SASS and Git
  • Experience with Figma
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics
  • Experience with WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, and Advanced Custom Fields

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
